The Murphy’s Law under Communication Theory subject once said, “What you think will happen, happens”. This quotation actually sinks in the spirit of the Brigada Eskwela 2018 where the various stakeholders from the government and non-governmental organization played a vital role for the success of the invaluable effort transpired during the 6-day service. The TSIS faculty, headed by the new principal, parents and students, including the support of the local government and non-governmental organization made this Brigada a successful one.

Song Title: Isang Himig, Isang Brigada / Melody & Lyrics: Jayson P. Corral / Musical Arrangements: Ferdinand P. Maminta

Being positive always pays positive results. The faculty members headed by Mrs. Dolores P. Oliveros, as newly-designated principal of TSIS gave her full support in every plan and every step of the way. It produced positive results because many of the parents also joined and shared their part. They did not only gave financial support for the materials needed but also did their actual job by cleaning, painting the school walls and grounds. They even asked help from other companies which also sent their representatives to take part and showed their support during the opening and closing programs.

Jollibee Food Corporation also showed its support by giving free foods for those individuals who were working for the 5 days. Caloocan Police also played a big role by repainting the school grounds and clearing some parts of the school.

Moreover, the barangay 102 and 105 officials specifically the Sangguniang Kabataan who were newly elected paid their service by cleaning the school grounds and planting some organic plants in the garden. They also made simple decorations around the new building of senior high school department. The parents gave their never ending support by accompanying their sons and daughters to assist them and help them in cleaning their own classrooms. The students patiently worked hard to apply floor wax, repainting of the walls and repairing of the chairs and tables to be used for the incoming school year.

All in all, the activities planned for this program was successfully carried out because it was evident that many supports were given coming from the different individuals in Caloocan City. This only proves that if we all become positive in our perspective in life , we will reap a good harvest and a positive results.
